As the Bayelsa Karaoke Singing Competition Season II, ‘The Prosperity Challenge’ kicks off on Wednesday 3 August 2022 at Club Bara, we give you a glimpse of the judges.

The judges are Victor Binawari, Laiye, Kofi and Geebonz.

Although, all four of Bayelsa Karaoke Singing Competition Season II judgesw werein the first season, they were unveiled on the official page of the singing competition in 2022.

Victor Binawari has craved an niche for himself in broadcasting especially with the tenor in his voice while reading the news – morning, afternoon, and evening – on the airwaves. Also known as The Skillful One.

He is the project lead of Bayelsa Media Awards, BMA, an annual event that recognizes and celebrates media practitioners in Bayelsa State. Victor has carried on with this prestigious award event for nearly a decade in excellence.

Victor is married and blessed with children.

Laiye, Musician

Laiye is the only female judge but she holds herself high when the cord strikes on any musical instruments. She is singer, songwriter and producers.

Her voice sounds like the morning bird.

Hmmm… Do you know, Laiye was pregnant at the last season? So, we are expecting to see a baby judge this season.

Kofi Black, Musician

Kofi Black is a musicology scholar at the Bayelsa-state owned university, NDU. He runs a live band with the state-of-the-art musical equipment.

During his live performances, Kofi plays the trumpet and piano in an awesome dexterity that produces melodious sounds. He combines different genres of music from the oddies to the present day.

Kofi is married and blessed with children.

Geebonz, Comedian

Geebonz is an award winning comedian, A-list mcee and actor based in Yenagoa. He organizes the Bayelsa Comedy Challenge.

As a comedian, he has performed rib cracking jokes at top government functions across the length and breath of Bayelsa State.

Geebonz is married and blessed with children.

These Bayelsa Karaoke Singing Competition Season II Judges are young promising talents that are contributing to the development of creative space.

The Bayelsa Karaoke Singing Competition christened The Prosperity Challenge is organized by Okpeke Show in collaboration with Club Bara and powered by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on Entertainment.
