BBNaija Maria Admits She Likes Pere, Leaves Biggie’s House

When Ebuka asked her about her feelings for Pere, Maria admits she likes in BBNaija 2021 but “as a friend”. Pere and Maria were introduced as wildcards but the Shine Ya Eye housemate couldn’t spot them.

Maria eviction from the house came as a shock for her and many viewers of Big Brother Show. Maria came as a wildcard, than HoH and given a veto power to nominate housemates for possible eviction.

The evening’s third Evicted Housemate would be none other than Maria – an announcement that had her fellow – now former – Housemates shocked.

During her Diary Session earlier today, Maria told Big Brother that she had been feeling alright until he called her name.

“My heart’s beating so fast. I’m not ready to go, but if I have to go, I have to go. I just don’t know what’s waiting for me outside. I’m scared. I’m really scared.”

Despite those fears, Maria still made a point of telling Big Brother, “thank you for this platform. Thank you for everything.”

“I’m surprised,” she told Ebuka. “It was really overwhelming at times,” she continued, “but I really didn’t want to leave.”

When asked about her feelings for Pere, she made sure to get it on record that she likes him “as a friend“. As for the immediate future, she said she was excited to be moving back to Lagos.
