Benin-Lokoja Highway, Take Proactive Steps, Group Charges Senators

The three senators representing Edo State have been charged to take proactive steps over the slow pace of work at the Benin-Auchi-Okene-Lokoja highway

This charge coming from a group known as Young Edo Professionals in Politics, YEPP said the senators representing their constituencies are not doing enough to make users of the road enjoy smooth movement.

They also decried the poor state of the road which they said has contributed to the level of insecurity causing incessant kidnappings and deaths.

President and Secretary of the group, Mr Endurance Egusa and Mr Oye Okpablo who spoke on behalf of other members called on political parties to fill the Senate positions with persons who are genuinely interested in the progress of Edo state.
