PHOTOS News: Communications Minister Chairs Global Information Summit

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, has assumed the chairmanship of the World Summit on the Information Society Forum 2022.

This followed the inauguration by Houlin Zhao, the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, Switzerland.

The World Summit on the Information Society is a two-phase United Nations summit. It was established to create an evolving multi-stakeholder platform aimed at addressing issues raised by information and communication technologies at the national, regional, and international levels.
