Chairman of Ekeremor local government area, Dr Bertola Perekeme has applauded the peaceful conduct of the elections by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the LGA and Bayelsa West Senatorial district.

He came out with this while speaking to newsmen in Sagbama when former governor Senator Seriake Dickson was declared winner of the senatorial primaries.

Dr Perekeme appreciated the delegates and aspirants of both the Bayelsa State House of Assembly and the National Assembly for the orderly and peaceful disposition throughout the exercise.

He noted that their peaceful conduct and show of sportsmanship underscores the enviable unity among members of the party which according to him is a rallying point in Bayelsa state.

While describing the PDP as one big family, Dr Bertola Perekeme congratulated those who got the party ticket and urged them to reach out to other contestants to strengthen the existing family bond ahead of the general elections.

The Ekeremor local government Chairman thanked Governor Douye Diri, his deputy Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor, Mr Solomon Agwanana, the state PDP Chairman and other leaders of the party for a hitch free primary in the area and senatorial district.

He maintained that PDP remains the party to be and urged Bayelsans to support the prosperity administration to distribute prosperity in all key sectors.
