Isenah Described Bayelsa Youths as Young Persons with Potentials, Talents

Tonye Emmanuel Isenah described youths in Bayelsa state as young persons with abundant potentials and talents that need to be developed.

He is the member representing Kolokuma/Opokuma constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.  Hon Isenah came out with this during the launch of the 2021 Bayelsa Got the Talent in Yenagoa, the state capital.

Isenah noted that when talents in the state are discovered and developed it would make Bayelsa state more attractive for tourism development.

He commended organizers of the event and promised to provide them with the needed support.

Also speaking, Commissioner for Tourism Development, Dr Iti Orugbani said talents can be very profitable hence it should be properly optimized through the
Bayelsa Got the Talent show.

On his part, Mr Harry Porbeni who spoke on the topic”The business behind performance” emphasized on the need for talented youths to learn emotional intelligence, quality communication skills, personal branding and business development inorder to commercialize their talents.

Organizer of the event, Mr Sylvester Sede noted that the event is open to all kinds of talents from various persons residing in all the local government areas of Bayelsa State.

Mr Sede called on the state government, public and private organizations as well as NGOs, partners including the media to give support them inorder to make the event successful.

The 2021 Bayelsa Got the Talent has begun the sale of forms in all local government areas of the state which closes in December while the auditions and live shows would begin in January 2022.

Interested participants are to pickup their forms for one thousand naira only in designated areas within the state.
