Report by Jonah DaSaint Korede Komaiya is the presiding pastor of the The Master’s Place Int’l Church, Warri Delta State, in this piece, he shares 4 keys everybody needs for their business and career growth.

You are the Main Asset

Your business and career will only grow to the level that you grow. Therefore, you must pay attention to personal development. You are the main asset in your business and career, so adequate attention must be given to your personal, spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical growth. A non-growing you will not be able to grow anything. A growing you can grow anything!

The 4 keys are found below;

Personal Growth

Your business and career will only grow to the level you grow, therefore you must pay attention to Personal Development. You are the main asset in your business and career, so adequate attention must be given to your personal, spiritual, mental, emotional and physical growth.

Branding

In business and career, branding is everything. Be a viable brand because that is the only medium by which you will stamp your name on people’s mind in the area of your catchment. Once your brand is successful you will be successful. In branding, build excellence as a person and continue to improve on it. Be a person of high quality and high standards.

Intrapreneur Spirit

Many persons can be entrepreneurs but only few persons can function effectively as intrapreneurs. An INTRAPRENEUR is an employee who thinks and behaves like the owner. They work exactly the way the owner would work and put in all your efforts, sacrifices and resources. Intrapreneurs can make decisions that the owner would make based on the interest of the business and career, and not personal interest. They work like they are the major shareholders. The success of the business and career so much matters to an intrapreneur; they work as if they own the shares and the company.

Getting The Job Done is a Priority

Intrapreneurs regard personal development more than money and salary. They are not motivated by salary and by getting the job done. For intrapreneurs, getting the job done is how they measure their success, not just by pay rise.
