Police Arrests Suspected Fraudster For Impersonation in Akwa Ibom
A suspected fraudster identified as Imaobong Kelvin Akpan arrests by the police in Akwa Ibom state for allegedly impersonating the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umoh Eno.
The alleged fraudster was paraded at the State Police headquarters in Ikot-Akpan in Uyo with five SIM Cards recovered from him.
Akwa Ibom state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Odigo Macdon said the suspect was arrested by detectives of the General Investigation Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department based on a petition against him.

He noted that the suspect allegedly impersonated the Commissioner through fake Facebook account to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The exhibit recovered from the suspect includes several SIM Cards, two phones, seven dollars and some other cash.
While speaking to newsmen, the suspect confessed to the crime and regretted his actions.
State Commissioner of Police, Andrew Amiekeme warned fraudster, impostors and criminals to desist from such activities.
He emphasized that the police would not spare anyone caught in criminality adding that they would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
