History is about to be made in the ancient city of Ozoro , the Isoko North Capital, as the famous ARAH family of Delta State are set to roll out the drums in a most grandiose manner to honor their Patriarch, ODIO JOHNSON EKPOMEBE ARAH who had just hit the ripe age of 106.

The event shall be hosted by the duo of High. Chief Austin Arah and Hon.Justice VI Ofesi (rtd) with a former secretary to the Delta State Government and now, Director General, Warri-Uvwie Development Agency, Comrade.Chief Ovuozorie Macaulay been listed as chairman.

The celebration will begin with a spiritual-stimulating birthday ” thanksgiving Mass “at St. Paul Anglican Church, Ozoro by 10:am on Sunday, April 25th, 2021 and is expected to be attended by a large turn-out of the crème de la crème of Nigerian society, with soul-stirring songs, praises to the Almighty and fervent prayers to be usher for the celebrant and his family.

After the church service, all roads will lead to Opute Hall, In the heart of Ozoro , for a glamorous reception, where guests will be treated to good food and drinks of various kinds and lively performances by leading musicians across Isoko, with DJs and Dancers will be on the wheels of steel.

Turning 106 years old is no mean feat, and Chief Austin Arah is aware of it, hence, the Managing Director of FirstChoice Group is working to give guests a ball, and as the host, High Chief Austin Arah, the Uncommon giver,  just as he has been doing for many years now, who never settles for anything but the very best, despite scaling down festivities due to the global COVID-19 pandemic has said, the event will be a synergy of tourism and culture and will be witness by hundreds of family members, well-wishers, Government Officials, Traditional Rulers, Ozoro Kingdom Chiefs and friends of the Kingdom.

According to a recent statement by Chief Friday Arah , the handler of the event and son of the celebrant says, thousands of Ozoro indigenes and Nigerians from different parts of the country and the Diaspora will defied the tortuous roads across the country to converge in the historic city of Ozoro for the event.

The event will create income for residents of the city as hotel rooms are already fully booked ahead of the day just as cultural products available at major markets are not been left out as sellers are already making brisk business.
