Topic: YOUR SPIRITUAL FATHER AND YOUR SPIRITUAL LADDER
Your spiritual father is your spiritual ladder to get to your desired height in life.
SCRIPTURE: But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. Matthew 3:14-15.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your spiritual father is your spiritual ladder to get to your desired height in life.
Spiritual fatherhood has been confirmed to be a key facilitator of destiny actualization.
We see this fact clearly demonstrated in the Scripture. For instance, Jesus needed to be baptized by John the Baptist for His Destiny and Ministry to be fulfilled. When He came to John to be baptized, John forbade Him. But Jesus seemed to to have told him, “Suffer it to be so for this is the spiritual order and protocol. Suffer it to be so to fufill all righteousness.” (Matthew 3:14-15).
Your spiritual father is your spiritual ladder to get to your desired height in life. Your spiritual father is your spiritual feather for flight. Spiritual fatherhood gives you an allocation of the feather you need to take off from where you are to where you need to go. Spiritual fatherhood gives you the capacity to see farther in life. Your personal vision is limited. This is why the Bible makes it clear that young men shall see vision while the old men shall dream dreams (Joel 2:28). Vision is foresight while dream is insight. Your spiritual father gives insight to your foresight. Your spiritual father gives details into what you thought you knew.
My counsel is, never take your spiritual covering for garnted. Every attempt to bite the finger that feeds you can make you die of hunger. Don’t muddle the water that quenches your thirst otherwise, you die of thirst. Maintain value for spiritual cover.
Remember this: Your spiritual father is your spiritual ladder to get to your desired height in life.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to connect to your God-ordained spiritual cover and connect appropriately.
2. Value your prophetic cover so you can connect the blessings of God on his life.
PRAYER:
Lord, I ask for the grace to connect to Your ordained prophetic cover over my life. Help me to value my prophetic cover, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
