Topic: The Power to Get Wealth
The power to get wealth is connected to the power of the tithe.
SCRIPTURE: But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The power to get wealth is connected to the power of the tithe.
The Scriptures make it clear that it is the Will of God for His children to exist in the realm of prosperity on earth. This means the plan and provision of God for His people is to live in the realm of the blessing of abundant supernatural supplies perpetually (Zechariah 1:17, 3 John 1:2). This is why God gives to His children the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18).
Now, when you search through the Scriptures, you would discover that the power to get wealth is connected to the power of the tithe. Every great personality in Scripture who accessed the blessing of supernatural supplies, especially the patriarchs, was a dedicated tither. To put it in another way, custodians of the blessing of abundance or supernatural supplies in Scriptures were dedicated tithers.
To confirm this, the first time we heard about the subject of tithing was in connection with Abraham.
Genesis 14:18-20 says,
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
This confirms that Abraham was the first covenant tither, and he was also the first person to walk in the covenant of abundance and supernatural supplies in Scriptures. Abraham, who was the father of faith and father of the Blessing (Galatians 3:9), was also the father of the tithe. So, the covenant of wealth or the power to get wealth is connected to the practice of the tithe.
Remember this: The power to get wealth is connected to the power of the tithe.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to make a conscious and practical decision against poverty.
2. Connect to the power to get wealth by the tithe.
PRAYER:
Lord, I thank You for Your timely Word to me today. I receive the grace to connect the power to get wealth by the practice of the covenant, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
