I remember my first love… the rush, the lure, the want, everything felt electric. It was like she held my beating heart in her hands.. every moment with her felt perfect.. till it didn’t 💔
Everything fell apart, I start to feel lost as I witnessed my only shot at true love fail. I am drowning, deeper and deeper into the oceans of self doubt, struggling with hopelessness till I felt her touch my hands.
With her, this time everything was better, I had more self control, we were more understanding and considerate, I began to see the hope. I could feel true love again.
We take it slow but before we can even get the ball rolling I travel for work and now its long distance. Anyway, to cut this long “story” short, it was another epic fail. This time I close my heart completely, I tell myself I’m not good enough, I’m not ready. I break every brittle heart I touch so I’m not even deserving of “love”. A year goes by and just when I start to get my shit together, just like magic. I feel another spark🌟.
