Read below:
Oh, land of green, once bold and bright,
Now lost beneath corruption’s blight.
From gilded halls where laws should stand,
To secret deals and greedy hands.
The people’s hope, a fading dream,
Drowned in lies, a silent scream.
Justice bends, the truth is sold,
While power trades in stolen gold.
The voices rise, yet fall unheard,
Drowned beneath deceitful words.
Oh, Nigeria, will you wake?
Or must your heart forever break?
A Cry for Nigeria shows the concern of Nigerians under Tinubu’s administration as president of Nigeria.
Chidi Obasi reveals his creative prowess in this lines while asking a deeper question, will democracy survive under Bola Ahmed Tinubu otherwise called BAT?
