COVID-19: Stop Magnifying The Devil Despite Negative Impact

This piece written by Solomon Olali Igabo on COVID-19: Stop Magnifying The devil.. seeks to draw the attention of Christians to trust God. The need to take both physical and spiritual measures to bring the pandemic to an end. – Editor’s note

We live in a very real world with very real dangers. Not only are there physical dangers, but also spiritual ones. There are evil men and leaders in the world, and every sphere of life, be it in politics, religion, economy and among others. Survival of the fittest or strongest is the order of the day.

The psalmist says “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”. One of the most beloved chapters of the Bible, we are told of the place of security that believers (Christians) can know is Psalms 91.

Again, the Bible says, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death”. (Proverbs 14:12) Natural man simply cannot perceive the things of God. Only after you are born again do you have proper perspective.

History has been marred with wars and heartbreak including diseases especially corona virus (Covid-19). However, thousands of years of human history have proved we need Divine Dominion and rule if we are ever to become what God created us to be.

Regrettably, instead of finding enduring solution or cure for the dreaded Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, we have so much overrated the devil Covid-19 which has become a monster hence the social media and conventional electronic media have magnified the devil and his works. What you picture attracts you! Stop overrating covid-19 your faith in Christ Jesus makes you an over-comer. I am not saying Covid-19 is not real but a manipulation from the pit of hell.

According to the presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie stated that “In the beginning God created man to lead and not to rule. Man is made to dominate over other creatures and not to rule over his fellow man”.
Spiritually we are to lead as servant and not ruler. Once men arrogate themselves as rulers people will react. That is a dictatorship.

It is instructive that a Christians we must walk in divine health and soar above the enemy of the world. The wall of Jericho fell flat at the priestly trumpet. The plan of Satan is to steal, kill and destroy. Sickness and disease is brain child of the devil. But hear this. The perfect will of God is for us to have sound health. Healing is our right. Whatever health challenge the devil has taken and stolen from us I command it to be destroyed in Jesus Name.

What is needful is to magnify the name of the Most High God in the midst of the so called corona virus pandemic (Covid-19). All other powers can fail but the power of God is above the power of hell.

A major mystery of the blood of Jesus is that it has the capacity to save the children of God and suffocate the devil and his agents at the same time. The blood of Jesus also has the capacity to save community against destruction. Jesus Christ the great physician has the capacity to treat and kill every disease or ailment that has defied medical remedy or cure. Only Jesus can save and only that Name has answer to life on earth and in Heaven.

COVID-19: Stop Magnifying The Devil… is written by Solomon Olali Igabo, a public affairs analyst and commentator.
