Daily Bible Verse for Today Friday 2nd August 2024 – Psalm 15:2
Psalm 15:2 – He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart;
On today’s bible verse we explore the second verse of Psalm 15. The Psalmist tells us the quality and personality of persons that can dwell in the holy hill and tabernacle of God.
It outlines three character personalities required of believers – walking uprightly, righteous work and speaking the truth in our heart. These traits shows our relationship with neighbours, colleagues and family members.
Our relationship with people is a critical aspect of walk with God. We must learn to walk uprightly with people and deal with them righteously. The verse emphasis on speaking the truth from the heart, people lie in heart.
In John 4:24 Jesus said, those that must worship God should worship in truth; truth starts from our heart and anybody that will stay in the presence of God, must be truthful.
