John 1:4 (AMP) In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men.

This bible verse reveals two dimensional potency of the Word of God. One, the Word has life and secondly, it has the power to give life.
In Genesis 2 verse 7, the account of man’s creation confirms this potent force of the Word. After God formed man, He breathe in his nostrils to give him life which is the Word – Christ.
During the earthly walk of Jesus, there was no death case around Him. John 14:6 reads ‘Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is the Word, and Life Giver. Whenever He steps into a death environment, He brings life and gives life in that environment. There are several testimonies of life giving. No wonder, the grave could not hold Him down after He finished His redemptive assignment for mankind.
Dear friends, the word of God is the authentic source for life. It has the power of life and gives it. Engage the word of God, and speak it to any situation and you see life.

The Creator of mankind and the universe, we hallow your name. We thank you for the gift of life daily. Give us understanding and revelation of your word in Christ Jesus, amen.
