Today is Thursday 1 February 2024, on the daily prayer points with bible verse for today, we shall intercede for Understanding across the globe for peace, progress and prosperity in the New Year. Let’s begin with the bible reading from the book of Psalms 61:1-12.

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. – Psalms 119:130

Job 32:8b – …and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
1) In worship, exalt the name of the Lord God of Israel as the Giver of understanding through inspiration and entrance of His word.
Psalms 119:130 – The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
2) Heartily, thank God for the power in His word to give understanding to the simple for issues, times, and season in the name of Jesus.
1 Chronicles 12:32b – And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do;
3) Pray against the spirit of errors, insensitivity, and mistakes in the lives of believers. Ask the Holy Spirit to stir up the spirit of understanding of matters, times, and season amongst believers in 2024 and beyond.
Luke 24:16 – But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
4) In the name of Jesus, cast out every spiritual blindness as a result of lack of understanding of God’s word in this season and beyond.
Luke 24:31- And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
5) Pray that as you encounter God’s word daily, the eyes of your understanding be opened to know God better this year, 2024 and beyond.
Luke 24:45 – Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
6) Decree that your eyes be open to the understanding of God’s word to draw deeper insight and revelations as solutions to human needs in Jesus’ name.
Ephesians 1:18 – The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
7) Declare that you will enjoy continuous flow of understanding whatever you do leading to your multiplication and dominion this year and beyond.
