Grassroot Mobilizer, Gabriel Morris Joins APC, Dumps PDP
It’s a season of cross carpeting especially in Bayelsa State, a political stalwart and grassroots mobilizer in Yenagoa Local Government area, Mr Maxwell Gabriel Morris has resigned his membership of PDP to throw his weight behind the APC.
Mr. Maxwell Gabriel Morris, a benevolent and vibrant man, full of ideas, and a bridge builder, he was one time APGA Gubernatorial Candidate who came 5th in the 2011/2012 Governorship election in Bayelsa-State, Nigeria.
In 2019, he was the National Coordinator and the brain behind “UNIT2 UNIT4 ATIKU/OBI”, and the group toured and campaigned round the six Geo-political zone in the country.
UNIT2 UNIT4 ATIKU/OBI was one of the strongest and known support group Nationwide, Letter of commendation was written and signed by the then DG ATIKU campaign organisation (Senator Bukola Saraki) pouring Ecomiums on the leadership of the group.
Again, while he was in the PDP, he was appointed as a MEMBER of the Central Senatorial Campaign Committee that worked for the victory of the party and delivered Senator Douye Diri into the Senate and the House of Representatives Member, Representing Kolga/Yelga and all the House of Assembly Members from the Central Senatorial district of Bayelsa-State, Nigeria.
Maxwell Gabriel Morris is officially a member of APC and has thrown his support and weight behind the Candidature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mr. Maxwell was formerly received and handed over the symbol and the flag of the party on the 9th, July, 2022 by the LEADER of the party in Bayelsa-State His Excellency Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva.
