Zubby Michael, popular Nigerian movie actor declares that he is not a thief and hates violence despite given such roles in films.

The actor, Zubby Michael came out this in a youtube podcast titled Curiosity Made Me Ask with skitmaker, Isbae U recently.

According to the Asaba-based actor, “I am not a thief, I will not robber you, it is just for the film. I am beautiful soul, I hate violence. I love peace and I am a child of God”, he stated.

Isbae U during the podcast described Zubby Michael as an Asaba Film celebrity with the likes of Destiny Etiko saying the actor is perfect at acting violent roles but can be used something for the role of ‘lover boy’, if the producer have money to waste.

When asked why disguising as an armed robbery in movie, when he can be one in real life, Zubby Michael’s response came as a surprise to the host.

Zubby Michael looked around and asked ‘where is the address of this place, I fit robber you na and I go run for this place.

Speaking on the ‘thug’ sterotype in movie roles, Zubby said the joy is in the process and because of the black and white shot on his face, it became an advantage for him in his movie career.
