Pan-Ijaw Economic Summit is Timely, Says Governor Douye Aide
Wisdom Oniekpar Ikuli, technical adviser to Bayelsa State governor on Print Media (Public Affairs) has said the pan-Ijaw Economic Summit, is not only necessary, it is very timely considering the prevalent economic realities.
Ikuli disclosed this in an online chat with our report after Pan-Ijaw Economic summit held in Yenagoa.
According to Ikuli, the Ijaw Nation is blessed and endowed with abundant natural resources, that needed to be harnessed.
In his words “the pre-Summit engagements are very key and strategic. Remember the common saying that “anything worth doing is worth doing well”.
“Based on the sensitivity of the Summit and the calibre of personalities in terms of the invited guests and resource persons, there is need to ensure that there are no mistakes.
“The Summit is not only target oriented but that it succeeds in addressing all the issues to be discussed and at the end, it should Herald a New Dawn in the Ijaw Nation.
