Opening Prayer: As I read your word O Lord, grant me an insight and grace to do your will in Jesus name.
Today Scripture: Psalm 50:16-23

Q 1: What does the passage teach about God the Father, or God the Son or God the Holy Spirit?
Q 5: Is there any warning for me to heed?
Asaph continues with indictment for unethical practices (vs.16-21) and instructions for correction (vs.22-23). Those who fail to worship God out of sincerity of heart often end up in hypocrisy and are faced with God’s reproof. Reflect on the specific and practical things pointed out in the lives of those who are unfaithful in their relationship with God as listed in vs.16-20. Are you guilty of any of these? Is God’s silence a sign of approval or otherwise of your lifestyle (v.21)?
God responded to these evils (vs.21-22). The people assumed that God’s silence is a sign of approval of their lifestyle. How wrong! God’s silence is not forever, and it is for only one purpose (see 2 Peter 3:9). What does this teach us about God’s nature and what warning for us?
Finally, God states clearly what honours Him and the kind of person He shows His salvation (v.23). God truly values a thankful heart.

►Grace and commitment to follow-up of converts. ►The children will fast unto the word of truth they have received during the camp.
