Many years ago, during our January 21days Fasting and Prayer, a young man and a young lady who were cohabiting were also participating in the programme. They would go home after the evening prayer meeting and break their fast on the grounds of immorality. What a waste of prayer and fasting! I am not referring to people who were under demonic oppression.
There are people who live any how they want and are trying to somehow bribe God with some spiritual actions – fasting, praying, giving, serving, etc. This is a kind of lifestyle that brings hinderance to prayer.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1.Ask God for mercy wherever you have erred.
2.Refuse to live in sin
3.Renew your mind daily with God’s word and refuse to entertain wrong thoughts.

Lord, I receive the grace to live uprightly as I journey through life. Thank you for granting me audience and answering my prayer as I maintain a clear conscience, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
