INSIGHT FOR TODAY’S Seeds of Destiny Devotional 21st November 2023 Paul Enenche | The Wages of Sin
In our study today, we shall look at the wages of sin:
1. Iniquity corrupts mentality (Judges 16:6-7). Iniquity makes a person not to think straight. Iniquity corrupts mentality.
2. Iniquity attacks focus (Judges 16:6-7). Iniquity attacks a man’s focus. You cannot be focused when you are distracted by iniquity.
3. Iniquity attacks potential (Judges 16:6-7). Iniquity weakens a man’s potential. Iniquity weakens a man’s capability, strength, and sharpness.
4. Iniquity ultimately ruins destiny (Judges 16:20-21). Sin kills your future. Sin ended the destinies of Samson and Judas Iscariot. My counsel is, resist sin and uphold integrity so you can fulfil your destiny. Remember this: You may be alive but something dies in you when you commit sin.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Resist sin vehemently like Joseph did when he was tempted by Potiphar’s wife.
2. Make the decision to live right. Dissociate yourself from the company of sinners. PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You help me not to lose my destiny through sin. I receive the grace to run from every appearance of evil, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
