TOPIC: PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT – A PRAYER BOOSTER
When you break forth into speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit begins to help you pray the right prayer.
SCRIPTURE: But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Praying in the Spirit intensifies a person’s prayer life.
Prayer boosters amplify the effect, power and results of prayer. A person prays fervently when he engages the prayer boosters.
Praying in the Sprit is one prayer booster.
We understand from God’s Word that the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and weaknesses at the place of prayer for we do not know what and how to pray as we should (Romans 8:26).
So, praying in the Spirit intensifies a person’s prayer life. Apostle Paul was a great man of prayer who admonished us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) because he engaged the power of praying in the Spirit.
In his days, he prayed in the Spirit more abundantly than the whole Church of the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 14:18). Praying in the Spirit is an amplifier of a person’s prayer life; it is a builder of a person’s faith.
Now, how does praying in the Spirit amplify a person’s prayer life?
The Spirit helps us to pray when we do not know what and how to pray (Romans 8:26).
There are times when a person has a burden to pray but does not know how to express it.
So, when you are burdened to pray but do not know what and how to pray, what to do at such point is to break forth into speaking in tongues. When you break forth into speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit begins to help you pray the right prayer.
Make up your mind to amplify your prayer life by praying in the Spirit always.
REMEMBER THIS: Praying in the Spirit intensifies a person’s prayer life.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to pray in the Spirit always.
2. Pray in the Holy Ghost whenever you perceive the burden to pray and you don’t know what to pray about.
PRAYER:
Lord, I receive the grace to pray in the Spirit always. Help me to intensify my prayer life by praying in the Spirit, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
