Jerry Eze Streams of Joy Devotional 9 November 2021
Topic: STEP IN
“And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;” (Acts 3: 2)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In bible times, especially in the days of Jesus, miracles happened in the temple. A man with the withered hand got his miracle as Jesus taught in the temple (see Mark 3). The temple had become a place for the manifestation of the power of God. Notice that the lame man was laid daily at the gate of the temple. His helpers brought him close but never took him in. He came close but was not taken into the main event.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not only come close to the place of your miracle but you will enter in. You will not only come close to the place of your opportunity but you will possess it. You will not only come close to the gates of your next level but you will step in. You will not only come close to the precincts of your wealthy place but your feet will step into it. You will not only see your new season but you will enter in.
That lame man remained at the gate of the temple, witnessing the entry and exit of men who stepped into the place of power on a daily basis. He simply became a spectator in other men’s advancement. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be a spectator as other men rise higher. You will not be a spectator as God turns around the lives of people around you. You will not be a spectator as God causes increase to manifest.
Today, I pray for you: may God send you helpers that will carry you into your next season. May God send you men who will not stop until you have stepped into your wealthy place. May God send you men who will carry you into the opportunities you have been praying for. May God send you men who will carry you into the places you cannot go to on your own. May God send you men who will carry you into the temple.
The season of coming close and not entering in, is over forever in your life. Receive the men that will carry you into your new season.
Obadiah 1: 17 says: “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
Declare With Me: I won’t only come close to my wealthy place but I will step in; I receive the gift of helpers, in Jesus’ name!
