It is important to observe that the lad that had the five loaves and two fishes was among the multitude. In the midst of the multitude that came to Jesus, Andrew was able to see the lad and his loaves and fishes. Despite the multitude, the lad was seen; despite the multitude, he stood out; despite the multitude, what he carried was identified; despite the multitude, the spotlight came on him. Despite the multitude, he was visible.

Friend, no matter the multitude of competitors around you, your destiny will be visible. No matter the number of people who are being considered for the same things you seek, you will be announced to your generation. There may be a multitude around but you will be considered first. You may be in the midst of people whose presence should make it more difficult for you to be seen, but regardless, you will be visible.

This lad was in a multitude, but what he had was visible enough for Andrew to identify him. He was in the crowd but he was not lost in the crowd. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you may be in the crowd but you will not be lost in the crowd. You may be in the crowd but you will not be swallowed by the crowd. You may be in the crowd, but the crowd will not stop you from being seen and rewarded. The crowd will not stop your new season.

The lad was seen despite the multitude. You will be seen despite the multitude. You will be chosen despite the multitude. You will be preferred despite the multitude. You will be congratulated despite the multitude. You will rise to your high places despite the multitude. You will enter your new despite the multitude. You will sit on your throne and wear your crown despite the multitude. You won’t lose to the multitude.

The light of God is shining on you already, and you cannot remain in obscurity. You will be visible. You will stand out.

Isaiah 60: 1 says: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
