Streams of Joy Devotional 15 June 2025 Jerry Eze – Bible Verse
“There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” (John 6: 9)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Our Focal Scripture introduces the lad who had five barley loaves and two fishes. Jesus had asked Philip where they could buy bread, before Andrew made mention of the lad. There was a need for loaves, and it became the opportunity for the lad with the loaves. So, he did not only have something; he also had opportunity for what he had. His capacity was met with opportunity. He entered into a place where his capacity was needed.
Friend, I pray for you: may God lead you to places where your capacity will meet opportunity. May God carry you into places where what you have will be needed. May God take you to places where your capacity will receive attention. May God take you to places where you will be rewarded with value and opportunity for what you have in your hands. May God take you into the season where you will meet waiting opportunities.
Notice that the lad did not announce to anyone that he had loaves and even fishes. He simply had what was needed, and he was eventually called upon. You may not need to announce your capacity, but El Roi will cause you to have opportunities for your capacity. You will be in your corner and people will seek you out because of what you carry. No matter how hidden you seem, God will direct your steps to places where you are needed.
I pray for you: may men who need you locate you. May men who need the capacity you carry, locate you. May men who will give you the right value for what you have, locate you. May men who will make you prosper on account of what you have in your hands, locate you. May men who will lift you higher because of what you carry, locate you. May men who will amplify your capacity, locate you. May you walk into your opportunities.
This is your season of having your capacity meet with opportunity. This is that season where what you have in your hands will connect you to the places where you are needed.
Proverbs 22: 29 says: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
Declare With Me: My feet will carry me into places where I am needed; my capacity will meet opportunities, in Jesus’ name!
