TOPIC: SILENT MIRACLES
“29. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 30. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?” (Mark 5:29-30)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today Friday 8/4/2022.
When the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus, she felt in her body that she had been healed of that plague. Jesus also knew within Himself that virtue had left Him, and He began asking about who touched Him. Jesus knew that power left Him, the woman with the issue of blood knew that she had been healed, but there was a multitude that was completely unaware of what was going on. It was a personalized miracle, kept away from the eyes of the multitude that followed.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to receive that miracle that will come to you before the multitude know anything about it. You are about to receive that miracle that will minister to your need secretly before anyone knows about it. You are about to get that result that is exactly what your destiny needs immediately. You are about to receive that result that will change your story before people know how bad it was.
There was a provision in scripture for people with issues of blood to stay away from others because they were unclean (see Leviticus 15). So if the multitude knew that she had an issue of blood, she may not have been given a chance to come close to Jesus. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your miracle will be hidden from every evil eye that wants to scuttle it. Those who have opinions against your miracle will find out when it is too late to reverse it.
Today, I pray for you: receive that miracle that will make you know within yourself that everything has changed. Receive that miracle that will wipe your shame away. Receive that miracle that will reposition you on the mountain of relevance and influence. Receive that miracle that will close the chapters of negativity for you. Receive that miracle that will make you the cynosure of all eyes. Receive the miracle that will shock the crowd around you.
Get set to receive that miracle that will turn your story around for good. Get set for that miracle that will take your multitudes by surprise.
Psalm 77:14 says: “Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.”
