Streams of Joy Devotional by Jerry Eze 25 November 2021
Topic: DIVINELY RELEASED
“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.” (Judges 6: 1)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how God delivered the children of Israel into the hands of Midian for seven years, on account of their sin. God delivered them into a seven-year captivity. That means, their captivity had an expiry date. It was not a captivity that was meant to last forever. Even if they deserved to remain captives forever, God wouldn’t allow them remain in captivity. God caused the captivity of the children of Israel to cease in time.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic captivity that the enemy has put on you expires now. Every limitation that the enemy has put on you is broken by fire. Every satanic affliction against your destiny ends now. Every stronghold of the enemy in your health is broken by fire. Every yoke of negativity that the devil has planted in your destiny is broken by fire. Every wickedness of the wicked against you ends now.
God may not have been impressed by the sin of the children of Israel in departing from His ways, but He wouldn’t let the enemy use their sin against them forever. Even if you literally brought affliction on yourself by reason of your wrongdoing, the mercy of God is coming through for you. Even if you deserve the chains that the enemy placed on your life, by the power of God, those chains are broken to pieces.
Today, you are released from every snare of the enemy. You are freed from every affliction from the pit of hell. You are released from every stronghold of the enemy. You are released from every curse that the devil put on you. You are released from every satanic generational pattern. You are released from every limitation, subjugation and confinement on your destiny. You are released from bondage.
The days of your bondage and affliction are over. God is releasing you now. No power of hell can hold you bound anymore.
Isaiah 49: 26 says: “And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.”
