INSIGHT | Streams of Joy Devotional by Jerry Eze Today 26 November 2023 | Not By Timing
“And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.” (Genesis 21: 7)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
It is instructive to observe that the laughter that came the way of Abraham and Sarah, came in their old age. According to the time of men, they shouldn’t have such results. Even Sarah had laughed within her whilst acknowledging that Abraham and herself were both too old for the miracle they sought. A woman at eighty-nine years of age, and a man at ninety-nine years of age should have given up, but that was when God showed up.
Friend, by the calendar of men, it may seem that the right time for your miracles has passed; by the calendar of men, it may appear that you have lost all the time with which you should have achieved the results you seek; by the calendar of men, it might seem that you no longer have time on your side; by the calendar of 2023, it may seem that the time for the fulfillment of your desires have passed; you may be on the wrong side of time.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: the time for your miracle may have passed according to the calendar of men, but it will still happen. It may seem that there is not enough time for your expectations to be fulfilled this year, but they will still be fulfilled. It may seem that the calendar of men is no longer in your favour, but because heaven is in your favour, your miracle will still happen. The timing of men will not hinder your miracle.
You serve a God who is not limited by the timing of men. God does not even operate in time; He operates from eternity; and if God be for you, there is nothing under heaven that can stop your results from coming forth. If time cannot stop God, then time cannot stop you. If the calendar of men cannot limit God, then it cannot also limit you. If God is unaffected by the fact that 2023 is about to end, then your miracle will still come forth.
Get set: your miracle will still happen. The timing of men will not hinder the agenda of God for your life. The calendar of men will not stop your miracle from coming forth before the end of this year.
Psalm 31: 15 says: “My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.”
Declare With Me: The timing and calendar of men will not hinder my miracles, in Jesus’ name!
