FOCAL SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY:
“When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?” (John 5:6)

INSIGHT | Streams of Joy Daily Devotional by Jerry Eze Thursday 18th January 2024 Today | El Roi Sees
In our Focal Scripture, Jesus turned up at the pool of Bethesda, and He saw that man who had been in his infirmity for thirty eight years. Notice that there was a multitude at the pool of Bethesda. There was a multitude that needed attention, but Jesus was able to see through and identify that man who had suffered for thirty eight years. The eyes of Jesus were open to see that man whose affliction kept him stagnated for thirty eight years.
Friend, let me remind you that in 2024, the eyes of El Roi are open to see you. It doesn’t matter the multitudes that are surrounding you; El Roi sees you in your corner. El Roi sees where your situations hurt you badly. He sees where your battles are raging. El Roi sees where you have been stagnated for too long. El Roi sees where you need help speedily. El Roi sees where you have been mocked. El Roi sees you in your pain and tears.
Notice that Jesus would eventually single out that man at the pool of Bethesda, and the man received his healing. He was the only person whom scriptures recorded to be healed by Jesus at the pool of Bethesda. The multitude was there, but he was singled out for a life transforming result. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will be singled out for mega results. El Roi, whose eyes are turned in your direction, will look to you with mercy.
Walk in the confidence that no matter the multitudes around you, El Roi sees you. Walk in the confidence that no matter how many people are waiting for the same divine intervention you seek, El Roi sees you and will meet you at the point of your need. Walk with the confidence that despite the years that went by without bringing forth the results you need, the eyes of El Roi are on you to deliver your results to you personally.
The eyes of the Lord see you right where you are. El Roi is available to meet you at the point of your need. El Roi sees you clearly despite the multitudes.
Psalm 145: 20 (TPT) says: “God, you watch carefully over all your lovers like a bodyguard, but you will destroy the ungodly.”
Declare With Me: All through 2024, the eyes of the Lord will be on me, in Jesus’ name!
