The name Jerry Eze is a global trend after the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. He is one of the gaisn that the world had despite the emergence of the strange disease.

To some persons, the year 2020 came with a mixed feelings but the world gained Jerry Eze with his global prayer movement, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations, NSPPD. He started the online prayer platform with his wife, Pastor Eno and associate, Pastor Uguru.

While many lost track during the lockdown, Jerry Eze seized the opportunity to spring up in deadliest time in the history of world using his social media handles with minimal equipment to pray for the sick across the world.

Jerry Eze has been criticized and described with different names. Some of the miracles are said to be ‘arrangee’ or fake. Since after the UK Prayer Conference 2024, he come under attack by different media platforms.

Who is Jerry Eze?

Jerry Uchechukwu Eze was born on 22 August 1982 in Umuahia, Abia State but hails from Okoko Item, Bende Local Government Area of same state. He grew up in Umuahia attending Ibeku High School, Umuahia from 1991 to 1997.

A holder of History and International Relations degree from Abia State University and postgraduate certification in Business Administration from Enugu State University of Technology, ESUT.

His Working Career

Before, starting his ministry, Jerry Eze worked at the World Bank for its HIV/AIDS and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as a communication specialists before joining full time ministry.

His Ministerial Journey

Jerry Eze’s ministry is focused on healing and revival right from his early christian life at All Saints Chapel in 2009. He moved to found Stream of Joy International Church in Umuahia Abia State in 2013.

As November 2022, Streams of Joy International has over 13 branches across Nigeria, Canada, United States of America, USA and United Kingdom.

The Birth of NSPPD

During the Covid-19, he convened the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations, NSPPD with the hashtag ‘What God Cannot Do, Does Not Exist’. NSPPD is a 2-hour weekday prayer starting at 7am (Nigerian Time) on Youtube and other social media handles.

NSPPD became a platform that brought Jerry Eze to global limelight. The NSPPD prayers attracted millions of viewers with several incredible testimonies of healing, miracles, and breakthrough from different part of the world.

A dynamic young man who has broken barriers, limitations and set new pace in the preaching of the gospel of Jesus. The grace of prayer over his life, is remarkable and left many open their mouths in awe. For every week, he appears on the prayer alter for 5 days and stands to pray for over a hour.

Today, Jerry Eze’s consistent commitment to prayer has produced evidence and results in several lives. This Many persons have recieved life-changing experiences to become better from sickness, delay, breaking barriers and commanding divine intervention.
