5th Anniversary: Petroleum Minister, Lokpobiri Commends Diri’s Developmental Strides
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, has commended the Bayelsa State Governor, Sen. Douye Diri, on the occasion of his 5th anniversary as governor of the state.
Lokpobiri, who described Governor Diri, as visionary leader, maintained that his development milestone is a testament to his dedication, visionary leadership and relentless commitment to the progress of the state.
A statement issued on Sunday, through the SA on media and communication to the minister, Nneamaka Okafor, quoted Lokpobiri as saying “It was a pleasure to have joined people of goodwill here in Yenagoa for the special dinner in celebration of the fifth anniversary of our Governor, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri. This milestone is a testament to his dedication, visionary leadership and relentless commitment to the progress of Bayelsa State”
I must emphasize that the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to complementing every effort aimed at advancing development across the nation.
As a proud son of Bayelsa, I can personally attest to Mr. President’s resolve in this regard.
