NDBDA Boss Praises Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as He Turns 74
As President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu clocks 74, his political son in Bayelsa State and Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA), Prince Ebitimi Amgbare has lauded him for advancing Nigerian interests and fostering African stability, democracy, and economic integration.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, Prince Amgbare, while felicitating with the President on his 74th birthday, praised his bold economic reforms and leadership style, informing that his bold and courageous decisions have continued to redefine Nigeria’s socio-economic and governance landscape since assuming office.
“As my mentor and political father, I have studied Mr. President’s leadership principles and seen firsthand his unwavering courage, dedication, and resilience in driving Nigeria’s growth. His love for humanity and the country is undeniable. His leadership through the Renewed Hope Agenda inspires me a lot, and I’m committed to supporting his vision for a better Nigeria.
“Tinubu’s administration removed fuel subsidy, a move seen as crucial for economic reform. This decision boosted economic stability: saving billions in subsidy payments, attracting investment, unifying the forex market, and improving transparency, encouraging efficiency while promoting competition in the energy sector. The move is part of the broader reforms under his Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming for sustainable growth and development,” Prince Amgbare maintained.
He said the President’s bold steps towards confronting long-standing structural challenges which though appear to be demanding on the masses, have however, helped to redirect national resources to infrastructural development, social investment, and other critical sectors.
He commended the government’s agricultural push, highlighting the continues support for mechanisation and food security programmes, as according to him, these efforts aim to cut import reliance and boost local production, a step towards self-sufficiency.
