“I said, ‘I am an actor and I am known worldwide. I have featured in many movies. Google me,’” Ijebu recounted humorously. The officer then searched his name on Google and discovered his impressive filmography and influence in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The actor further stated that the consular officer brought in a Yoruba colleague who immediately recognized him. “The man told the white man I was one of the best comedians in Africa,” Ijebu said with excitement. “That was how the white man approved my visa immediately.”
