Bayelsa United Beats CS Sfaxien of Tunisia, Diri Confident of Next Stage
His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, today joined by his wife, Gloria, other football fans to watch and cheer Bayelsa United FC to victory against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia one nil in the first leg second round of CAF Confederation Cup at the Samson Siasia stadium, Yenagoa.
Sampou-born striker Victory Beniangba, scored the only goal of the game in a solo effort in the 55th minute.
After the match, an elated Governor Diri, praised the determination and display of great skills by Bayelsa United, a team in the Nigerian lower division.
