Beteh Hails Newly Elected President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Senator Mbata
Barisuka Prince Beteh, president of the Federated Union of Rivers Indigenes in Bayelsa state, hails Senator John Azuka-Mbata, newly elected president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide over the weekend in Enugu state.
Speaking to the Reflector TV Street reporter in Yenagoa, Chief Barisuka Beteh congratulated former senator representing Rivers East, John Mbata on his successful election as the new helmsman of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization.
According to Chief Beteh, the election of Senator Mbata is the birth of freshness and a new era of all inclusiveness to better the lots of Southeasterners adding that there is need to bring all Igbos together to fight for a common cause in the Nigeria project.
The Rivers community leader in Bayelsa State expressed confidence in Senator Mbata as a true Rivers son to turnaround the fortunes and bring a new lease in the pan-Ndigbo organization within the shortest possible time.
Meanwhile, Senator John Mbata, the newly elected president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has called on states in the organization to collaborate and support the organization. He was elected alongside Prince Okey Nwadinobi from Abia as national deputy president and Emeka Sibeidu from Abia as Secretary general.
