
Birthday Celebration: MOSIEND Hails Chief Boma Iyaye, Describes Him As A Pillar Of Niger Delta Development
The Movement for the Survival of the Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND), has paid glowing tribute to Chief (Hon.) Boma Iyaye, the Executive Director, Finance & Administration of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the occasion of his birthday.
Chief Iyaye, a revered Ijaw son and holder of the traditional title, Fifika Chiri, was lauded by MOSIEND for his sterling leadership, selfless service, and enduring contributions to both sports and national development.
In a goodwill message issued by its President, Dr. Kennedy Tonjo West, MOSIEND described Chief Iyaye as “a beacon of excellence, a bridge builder, and one of the finest examples of patriotic leadership the Niger Delta has produced.”
The statement further noted: “Chief Iyaye’s life of service is a testament to dedication, discipline, and visionary leadership. His unmatched record as a Legislator and in sports development as Commissioner in Rivers State transformed the landscape and gave countless youths opportunities to excel.
Today, as Executive Director in the NDDC, his commitment to accountability, progress, and development continues to inspire confidence across the region.”
Dr. West emphasized that Chief Iyaye’s impact transcends politics, describing him as a man of the people whose humility, wisdom, and results-driven approach have earned him respect across ethnic, political, and social divides.
“As he marks another year of divine grace, MOSIEND joins well-meaning Nigerians in praying for greater strength, good health, and fulfillment in his service to God, humanity, and the Niger Delta. His journey remains a shining light for the younger generation to follow,” the message concluded.
