PRAYER POINTS | Daily Prayer Points with Bible Verse for Thursday 18th January 2024 – Praying for Leaders in Government
Psalms 136:18 – And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever.
1) Magnify and glorify God has the ruler amongst kings, presidents and head of authority.
1 Timothy 2:1 – I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.
2) Heartily thank God for leaders, governors, presidents and kings, in the name of Jesus.
Hebrews 13:18 – Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
3) Pray for all leaders across the globe for good conscience and honesty in dealing with their subjects in the name of Jesus.
Psalms 75:7 – But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
4) Pray for God’s judgment to put down any leader in position of authority working against the progress, peace, and prosperity of the people in the name of Jesus.
Esther 6:12 – And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.
5) Pray that God will disgrace and cover every wicked agents and persons plotting wickedness in any leadership positions against the people in shame in the name of Jesus.
I kings 10:25 – So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
6) Decree that God will give His people leaders, kings, presidents and governors who have excellence spirit and wisdom.
Daniel 2:21b – …and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.
7) Decree that only leaders with knowledge and understanding to sit on any leadership position in elective and appointive offices, in Jesus’ name.
