Word for Today:

For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? – Deuteronomy 4:7

Let’s take the daily confessions from the book of Psalms 15:1-12 leading us into a 15-minute of aggressive praise and worship. Our prayer focus for today is for the nations of the earth.

Prayer Points | Prophetic Prayer Points for Today Monday 18 September 2023 – Praying for the Nations

The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. – Psalms 24:1

1) Magnify and worship God as the Owner, Creator and Sustainer of the nations and their people, in the Name of Jesus.

… the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. – Nehemiah 9:6

2) Graciously thank God for preserving all things – sea, air, mountain and land – in the nations of the earth in the name of Jesus.

And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. – Zachariah 8:21

3) Pray that nations of the earth will speedily turn to God in prayer in the name of Jesus.

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water… Psalms 65:9

4) Ask God to visit nations of the earth with the water of His word to cause a spiritual reawakening in the name of Jesus.

The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from theearth. – Psalms 34:16

5) Pray that the judgment of God will cut off evil leaders and their sponsors from the nations of the earth in the name of Jesus.

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. – Exodus 14:14

6) By the blood of Jesus decree peace and victory over every battle against the nations of the earth in the name of Jesus.

If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth… Ecclesiastes 11:3

7) Decree God’s rain of blessings on the nations of the earth for economic prosperity, and fruitfulness in this season and beyond in Jesus’s name.
