Look…. Here is the woman now, and this is her son—the very one Elisha brought back to life! – 2 Kings 8:5

In 2 Kings 4, the prophet Elisha prayed over the dead child of a Shunammite woman and the boy was restored to life. Shortly afterward, a famine forced the woman and her son to the coastal areas where they lived for seven years among the Philistines. When the woman returned, someone had taken her land and was living in her house. She went to the king for justice.
As it happened, at that moment the king was talking to someone about Elisha’s miracle of seven years before, when he had raised the dead boy to life. At the very moment the king was engrossed in the seven-year-old story, the woman and her son appeared in his chambers. The timing was perfect, and the king quickly granted her justice, allowing her to reclaim her land.
There are no true coincidences for God’s children. Our times are in His hands, and all our circumstances are regulated with precision. Sometimes we have to wait on Him, but His solutions to our problems are always well worth the wait.
Although our God transcends time and eternity, He is very precise in His timing. – John Utley
