Divine Image School Pupils Tour Nigerian Content Tower, Learn NCDMB Operations
Pupils and students of Divine Image Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School were on an educational excursion earlier today as they toured the Nigerian Content Tower, gaining first-hand exposure to the operations of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
The guided tour took the young learners through key facilities within the iconic tower, including the NCDMB Conference Hall, the on-site Clinic, Crèche, and the Fire Station. At each stop, officials provided age-appropriate explanations on the functions of the facilities and their importance in supporting the Board’s day-to-day operations.
The visit was designed to deepen the students’ understanding of the mandate and activities of the NCDMB, particularly its role in promoting local participation, capacity development, and sustainable growth within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
Teachers who accompanied the pupils described the tour as an invaluable learning experience that complemented classroom lessons by exposing students to real-life institutional operations and public service responsibilities.
Officials of the NCDMB, while interacting with the students, encouraged them to remain curious, pursue excellence in their studies, and consider careers that would contribute to national development in the future.
The educational tour forms part of the school’s commitment to experiential learning, aimed at broadening students’ horizons and fostering early awareness of key national institutions and their contributions to Nigeria’s economic development.
