
IDGC 2025: DO Foundation Holds Pre-Sensitization Visit to Hansal School
The Dise Ogbise Foundation (DO Foundation), in collaboration with its partners, has held a pre-sensitization visit to Hansal International School ahead of activities marking the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child.
As part of the visit, the “Farm to Fame Project,” jointly organized by DO Foundation and its partners, was unveiled.
According to the organizers, the International Day of the Girl Child celebration will also feature other activities, including the Girls in Tech Project and a special party for girls living with special needs.
Miss Teresa Briseimo educated female students on the various benefits of the tech space and how they can take advantage of the opportunities available to them.
The event was attended by the founder of DO Foundation, Dr. (Barr.) Dise Ogbise Goddy-Harry; the founder of Lady Mary Women and Girl Child Empowerment Initiative, Her Iyoro Esther Seibarugu; and the founder of Girls in Tech Initiative Bayelsa, Miss Teresa Briseimo.
Other attendees included Mrs. Helen Suokiri, representing the Association of Women Against Gender-Based Violence, Bayelsa State Chapter, and Barr. Tracy Kabowei, Chairperson of Edu Eduere Girls Support Organization, Bayelsa State Chapter.
