
Engineer Miebi Lambert, The Great Achievers of Our Time, Bags BMNA
The Chairman of Okordia/Zarama Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) Engr. Miebi Lambert Nicodemus said, he has the zeal to develop the Okordia/Zarama community because they have the best natural gas and other mineral resources in Nigeria.
According to him, he wants to leave a lasting legacy behind as the chairman of HCDT providing the needed infrastructural development for his Host Community.
Speaking to our correspondent during a projects tour with the Project Manager of Bayelsa Media Network Award (BMNA) Mr. Blessing Ozegbe and his team at Ikarama community said, the first milestone they have was the 21 roads infrastructural projects, skill acquisition program, scholarship program and other infrastructural projects. “Our scholarship program is transparent for every beneficiaries. I made it open because development radiate in me”
Engr Miebi Lambert who was honoured with the Best Chairman In Bayelsa State’ Host Community Development Trust (HCDT) by the management of the Bayelsa Media Network Award as a result of his developmental strides in his host Community believe he will do more for his people.
“The award by the Bayelsa Media Network Award, I can say is God because everyone in the community witnessed the development program and the old ones are also watching the development plan that I have. With the giant pipeline construction projects at hand, by four years to come my tenure will bring a remarkable income to the Bayelsa state government, am still working towards that.
“The award is to enable me do more for my people and go higher than this , that is the joy am having and it’s also to check out my errors and see how I can correct them
“I have come across a lot of challenges from the community, social behavior challenges, organizational behavior challenges, even with our clients and federal government, the name Engr. Miebi Lambert Nicodemus rings bell in the state even at national level, because I played a significant role in the state”.
He highlighted other projects to include, the modern town hall building in Ikarama, concrete roads construction also in Ikarama too, a building to serve as a guest house as a result of in-flocks of visitors to the community which is for the women,another guest house and skill acquisition program especially for women.
“We focus on roads construction because the drainages will reduce the impact of flooding in the community and will also play a significant role in environmental degradation in the community. After this, we will go into infrastructural and capacity building. The capacity building, we have not touched the money because we will soon begin the scholarship program and to get the best of our students which we are still searching for”.
He thanked the management of Bayelsa Media Network Award for finding him worthy of the award.
“My advice to other chairmen is for them to be creative and do something that will bring development to their people and also bring income to the state government”.
