“I hated Cameramen but Depression Moved Me into Photography”, Says Bayelsa-born Photographer

He is about the most popular freelance photographer in Bayelsa State, Romeo Ebiye with his stage name as Creative Nigerian shares his experience how he venture into Photography and film making.

Romeo Ebiye took to his Facebook account to share his experience on how he turnedΒ  photographer through depression and he is find fulfilment in the trade.

According to the post, the Bayelsa-born multi-talented photo artist said Photography and film making was never in my picture for a future.

He said, “Infact I hated those camera men I see in weddings because they use to block me when i dey try to see dat u may kiss d bride part. All i wanted to do was sing, blow n become rich ( my music name was slimface bcos i wanted to be part of d plantashun bois) but after 3yrs n i couldn’t even afford a studio session i gave up. I learnt video editing out of frustration in Uyo not bcos i wanted to but bcos i was depressed. I needed a distraction. But the Steps of a good man are ordered by God. Look where dat took me. #CreativeNigerian”
