
INC Congress National delegate election slated for 7th March, As HRM Justice F. F. Tabai led INC-N ELECO releases time table
The INC National Electoral Committee led by the Chairman, HRM Justice F. F. Tabai has released the time table for the 2026 Delegate elections.
According to the time table released at the weekend the delegate election is fixed for 7th of March,2026.
HRM Justice F. F. Tabai, Chairman INC-N ELECO, Dr. Olobo Choice Jamaica Secretary, INC-N ELECO and Amaopusenibo Shedrack Fubara, Chairman, Planning & Publicity Sub-Committee,INC-N ELECO, stated that
the upcoming national elections to help shape the future of Ijaw Nation will kick start with the collection of nomination Forms between 12th – 26th Jan 2026 and campaign starts between 12th January – 6th March, 2026.
Also aspirants are expected to start returning Completed Nomination Forms on the 10th February, 2026.
The National Convention Delegate List will also be expected to be submitted at the Ijaw House, Yenagoa – 14th February, 2026 and claims and Objections of Delegate Lists:** 16th – 18th February 2026.
The final Publication of Delegate Lists will be done between 20th – 21st February, 2026 at Ijaw House, Yenagoa and screening of Candidates:will follow between 19th – 21st February, 2026 at Ijaw House.
A test run of the E-Voting System to be used for the INC national delegate election will also be done between 3rd and4th March, 2026.
The Election Day is however fixed for the 7th March 2026 at the Ijaw House, Yenagoa.
Some key events were also announced by the Electoral Committee and they include “the Non-elective Convention/Presentation of Manifesto by cleared candidates at Yenagoa by 4 PM – 6th March, 2026”

In the Statement, the INC N-ELECO declared it’s committlmemt to Transparency and Fairness in conducting this Election.
