
IPM Extols The Virtues of Late Isaac Isaac
The National President of Ijaw Patriotic Movement (IPM) , Comrade Mislaw Ganren has called on all sons and daughters of the Ijaw ethnic extraction to come out en masse to celebrate the legacies left behind by the late Isaac Boro who laid down his life to redeem Ijaw people from oppression in the midst of their rightful resources from the central government.
Mislaw Ganren who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Yenagoa further noted that the declaration of 12 days revolution by the late Isaac Boro is remarkable legacy that should be upheld by all Ijaws.
Mislaw Ganren noted that the celebration of the life and times of Isaac Boro is a deep reflection of the role the late he played in his attempt to free the Ijaw people from the clutches of environmental degredation occasioned by neglect of the rural communities that produce the main stay of the Federal Government.
He also noted that the clamour for resource control started from the late hero, calling on all authorities concerned to live up to expection by implementing fiscal or true Federalism to give each state that make up the federation the opportunity to develop thier God given resources at it’s own pace.
The IPM President called on Bayelsans who are mainly from the homogeneous Ijaw state to continue to propagate the struggles for self determination for Ijaw nation.
