
JoFave Carwash Set To Host Premiere of Soso: The Single Mother on Easter Day
An emerging lifestyle hub in Yenagoa, JoFave Carwash and Bar in Ekeki is set to make history this Easter with the premiere of a compelling family drama, Soso: The Single Mother, in an unconventional but vibrant setting.
The much-anticipated film, produced and directed by Bayelsa-based filmmaker Lambert Ibarakumo Victor, tells a gripping story of pain, denial, and emotional struggle, as it follows the life of Soso—a woman caught in difficult and unusual circumstances that test her resilience and humanity.
Breaking away from the traditional cinema experience, the organizers have chosen a carwash venue to host the premiere, promising guests a refreshing blend of entertainment, relaxation, and social engagement. The innovative setting is expected to attract a diverse audience of movie lovers, fun seekers, and regular patrons of the space.
Speaking ahead of the event, the producer described the film as “a deeply emotional story that reflects real-life struggles many can relate to,” adding that the choice of venue was intentional to create a unique and memorable viewing experience.
Ticket packages for the premiere have been tailored to suit different categories of guests. Regular tickets are priced at ₦5,000, offering access to the screening alongside a bottle of drink and popcorn. For a more exclusive experience, a table reservation for two is available at ₦50,000, which includes a bottle of wine, water, and popcorn.
