Jonathan Arrives Ghana for Democracy Dialogue
Goodluck Jonathan, former Nigerian president arrives Ghana for the 202e5 GEJ Democracy Dialogue holding today.
Jonathan announced his arrival via a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday night.
He wrote;
I arrived in Accra, Ghana today, ahead of Wednesday’s #GEJDemocracyDialogue.
This year’s dialogue, themed “Why Democracies Die”, is hosted by the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation in collaboration with the Government of Ghana. It will provide participants an opportunity to reflect on the progress, challenges, and prospects of decades of democratic governance in our sub-region.
I am hopeful that the deliberations and outcomes from this event will contribute meaningfully to deepening democracy in our region, and translate into greater peace, security, and good governance.
