The United States of America Vice President, Kamala Harris celebrates her first-grade teacher, Mrs. Wilson. She shared a throwback photo on her verified official handle to mark this year’s National Teachers Appreciation Day.
She eulogies the impact of her former teacher who encouraged at different times.
Kamala Harris wrote, ‘My first-grade teacher, Mrs. Wilson, encouraged me when I was her student and years later cheered me on when I graduated from law school.
‘This year and every year, we celebrate America’s teachers, who make a lifelong impact on America’s students’.
Yearly, Americans set aside May 4 as National Appreciation Day to celebrate the contribution of America’s teachers on their students.
